Bruno Mars Lazy Song is my theme song today. My kitchen is a disaster and my room is covered in laundry, but guess what.. I don't care. My oldest is with Nana today and mini is asleep. So here I am, browsing weight loss blogs, young mommy blogs and Etsy. Occasionally I'll think, "I should start on the dishes" and then re-think "psh, later". So, later it is.
Well, I have some great news that I'm uber excited about! I got a new job and I couldn't be happier. Although it's your common 8-5 Monday through Friday deal, it's exactly what I want. I start on the 15th and I'll be working in a law office. Finally a step closer to my dream of becoming a lawyer. It might not be glamours and I'll be processing extremely boring debt collector paper work all day, now I'll know if what I've always wanted is something that I'd really like to do. So yay to me, I need to celebrate... and I'm going to say that my celebration is today, doing nothing. at. all.

Kicking myself back into gear

Well, I've gained a couple pounds and I am very upset with myself that I've put myself into a slight depression because of it. Which is totally lame since it's 100% my fault! So starting today, July 12, I am going to start setting mini goals to get this last 50 lbs off for good! My first goal is 10 lbs by August 12. If I do lose 10 lbs by then I get to have a wonderful weekend away with my boyfriend! If I don't, I told him I don't get to see him for 2 weeks! Most people won't understand this, but I can't seem to keep myself away from him for very long. It's probably annoying and insane, but I love being around him. So it's either reward or punishment. So here I go! I'm going to be very hard with myself and strict because I just need to do this and get this done. I've been working with my trainer and my goal is to make sure I get a min. of twice a week with her, high intensity workout for 20-40 mins in the morning and another one at night. I'm just going to run my ass off basically, not to mention my goal to run the 1/2 marathon in Vegas in December will come very quickly and I want to be ready because I WANT TO DO IT! (I still need to register)
Another goal is to post at least 3 times a week with my progress. I think it will help & I think it will keep my motivated.
